A Walk Through Gay Pride

This weekend, surrounding National Coming Out Day, Atlanta celebrated Gay Pride. This is normally an activity reserved for the last Sunday in June to commemorate the Stonewall riots in 1969 but rescheduled as of several years ago in this fair city for beaurocratic reasons I do not fully understand.

In any case , what I low about Pride is that more than anything t showcases not just our commonalities as Gays and Lesbians but or commonalities as humans: from the wackiness to spiritual warmth and everything in between.

The rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple) is a symbol of that simultaneous unity an diversity.

I though I would share some snapshots of my “walk in the park” yesterday to illuminate the local color of Atlanta Pride.
